Delete and restore profiles

Deleting a profile sends it to the Deleted tab in Trash, where it stays for 7 days before being permanently removed. During that window, it can be restored at any time.

Deleted profiles are permanently removed after 7 days. If you need to reduce your profile count due to plan limits but want to keep the cloud data and reuse the profile in the future, try disable and re-enable instead.

Delete a profile

  1. In the profile list, click the three-dot menu on the profile you want to delete.

  2. Click Delete.

  3. Review the confirmation dialog and click Delete.

The profile moves to Trash and remains recoverable for 7 days.

Delete and restore a profile

Restore a deleted profile

Restoring a profile returns it to its original group with its proxy intact. Tags are not restored, so you will need to reassign them manually.

  1. Click Trash in the left sidebar.

  2. Click the Deleted tab.

  3. Find the profile you want to restore and click Restore.

The profile is returned to your active profile list.

You can also restore multiple profiles at once by selecting the profiles you want to restore. The Restore button appears in the action bar at the bottom of the page, allowing you to restore all selected profiles at once. All selected profiles are returned to your active profile list.

Delete multiple profiles at once

To remove several profiles in a single action, follow these steps:

  1. Check the boxes next to the profiles you want to delete.

  2. In the action bar at the bottom of the screen, click the Delete button.

All the selected profiles are moved to the trash.
