# Cloud Phones overview

A [cloud phone](https://incogniton.com/cloud-phones/) is a virtual smartphone that runs on remote cloud servers instead of a physical device. Each Incogniton Cloud Phone has its own separate storage, and network connection, allowing you to install apps and run multiple accounts without a separate physical device for each one.

### What are Cloud Phones used for?

Cloud phones suit work that happens inside mobile apps. Marketing agencies and social media managers use them to run accounts on TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and X from one place, posting content, engaging audiences, and managing client accounts. E-commerce sellers use them to keep multiple eBay and Etsy stores separate.

Just as browser profiles let you manage multiple isolated browser accounts from one computer, Cloud Phones let you manage multiple mobile app accounts from one virtual phone.

### Cloud Phones in Incogniton

You can access and manage your Cloud Phones directly from the Incogniton desktop app. The dashboard lets you view your phones, download apps, run automated tasks, and manage your subscription. You can also visit the Cloud Phone Store to purchase additional phones and minutes.

### Free trial and pricing

If you have a paid subscription, starting from the Starter Plus plan, you'll get **one cloud phone for free for one month, including 30 minutes**. After the trial ends, you can buy additional cloud phones and cloud phone minutes in the app or on the [Incogniton website](https://incogniton.com/cloud-phone-pricing/).

### Attaching a proxy to your Cloud Phone

Every Cloud Phone needs a proxy before you can use it. The proxy sets the IP address that the Cloud Phone network connection uses. Incogniton gives you four ways to add one:

* **Proxy library:** Use a proxy already saved in your proxy library
* **Custom proxy:** Connect a proxy from an external provider
* **Buy proxy:** Purchase a proxy from Incogniton’s proxy shop
* **Free proxy:** Use a built-in proxy that Incogniton provides

For setup instructions, see [**Set up Cloud phones**](/cloud-phones/set-up-cloud-phones.md).

### Sharing Cloud Phones with your team

If your Incogniton subscription includes [team member seats](/team-features/adding-team-members.md), you can easily share cloud phones with your team. Invite members, assign permissions to ensure everyone has access to the resources they need, and maintain full control over your account.
