# Proxyvalidatie

Wanneer je een proxy valideert in Incogniton, gebeurt dit op basis van een database met proxies - we gebruiken hiervoor IPstack. Om bepaalde redenen kan het echter voorkomen dat de proxyvalidatie niet werkt of een andere geolocatie aangeeft. Dit kan worden veroorzaakt doordat de proxyverkoper onjuiste gegevens aan de proxy koppelt of omdat informatie van IPstack onjuist is geregistreerd.

Om dit probleem te verminderen, is Incogniton gekoppeld aan een tweede en derde database zodat de proxy ook via externe bronnen anders dan IPstack gevalideerd kan worden.

**Open Proxy-instellingen**

Maak een nieuw browserprofiel aan of bewerk een bestaand profiel en ga naar het tabblad **Proxy**.

Ga naar **Proxy-informatieprovider** en kies **Back-upprovider** of **Tweede back-upprovider** in het dropdownmenu.
