Proxy validation

Proxy validation with main provider and back up provider

When you validate a proxy in Incogniton, this is done based on a database with proxies - we use IPstack for this. However, for some reasons, the proxy validation may not work or may indicate a different geolocation. This can be caused by the proxy vendor linking incorrect data to the proxy or because information from IPstack has been recorded incorrectly.

To reduce this problem, Incogniton is linked to a second and third database so the proxy can also be validated via external sources other than IPstack.

Open Proxy settings

Create a new browser profile or edit an existing one, and go to the tab Proxy.

Choose a different provider

Go to Proxy information provider and choose Backup provider or Second backup provider from the dropdown menu.
