# Proxy-Validierung

Wenn Sie einen Proxy in Incogniton validieren, geschieht dies auf Basis einer Datenbank mit Proxys - wir verwenden dafür IPstack. Aus bestimmten Gründen kann es jedoch vorkommen, dass die Proxy-Validierung nicht funktioniert oder eine andere Geolokalisierung anzeigt. Dies kann daran liegen, dass der Proxy-Anbieter falsche Daten mit dem Proxy verknüpft oder weil Informationen von IPstack falsch aufgezeichnet wurden.

Um dieses Problem zu verringern, ist Incogniton mit einer zweiten und dritten Datenbank verbunden, sodass der Proxy auch über externe Quellen außer IPstack validiert werden kann.

Erstellen Sie ein neues Browserprofil oder bearbeiten Sie ein bestehendes und gehen Sie zum Tab **Proxy**.

Gehen Sie zu **Proxy-Informationsanbieter** und wählen Sie **Backup-Anbieter** oder **Zweiter Backup-Anbieter** aus dem Dropdown-Menü.
