# Test del proxy

In alcuni casi il tuo proxy potrebbe non funzionare. Questo articolo mostra come testare un proxy utilizzando il browser Firefox e l'estensione FoxyProxy per determinare la fonte del problema.

**Installa Firefox**

Installa Firefox, se non lo hai già. Scaricalo da [questo link](https://www.firefox.com/en-US/?redirect_source=mozilla-org\&utm_campaign=SET_DEFAULT_BROWSER).

**Installa l'estensione FoxyProxy**

Installa l'estensione FoxyProxy per Firefox tramite [questo link](https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/foxyproxy-standard/).

**Apri FoxyProxy**

Fai clic sull'icona di FoxyProxy all'estrema destra della barra degli strumenti di Firefox per aprire l'estensione.

**Aggiungi i dettagli del tuo proxy**

Fai clic su **Add** all'interno dell'estensione FoxyProxy. Nella nuova finestra, inserisci:

* Tipo di Proxy
* IP del Proxy
* Porta
* Nome utente (se applicabile)
* Password (se applicabile)

Dai un nome al proxy, quindi fai clic su **Save**.

**Attiva il proxy**

Seleziona il proxy dal menu a discesa di FoxyProxy e attivalo.

**Verifica il proxy**

Naviga su un sito come <http://www.whoer.net> per verificare se il proxy funziona. Questo indicherà se il tuo IP/proxy funziona o meno.

**Contatta il fornitore del proxy**

Se il proxy che hai acquistato non funziona, segnala il problema al fornitore del proxy. Potrebbero fornire supporto o sostituire il proxy.
