# Teste de proxy

Em alguns casos, seu proxy pode não funcionar. Este artigo mostra como testar um proxy usando o navegador Firefox e a extensão FoxyProxy para determinar a origem do problema.

**Instale o Firefox**

Instale o Firefox, se ainda não o tiver. Baixe-o a partir [deste link](https://www.firefox.com/en-US/?redirect_source=mozilla-org\&utm_campaign=SET_DEFAULT_BROWSER).

**Instale a extensão FoxyProxy**

Instale a extensão FoxyProxy para Firefox através [deste link](https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/foxyproxy-standard/).

**Abra o FoxyProxy**

Clique no ícone do FoxyProxy à direita da barra de ferramentas do Firefox para abrir a extensão.

**Adicione os detalhes do seu proxy**

Clique em **Add** dentro da extensão FoxyProxy. Na nova janela, insira:

* Tipo de Proxy
* IP do Proxy
* Porta
* Nome de Usuário (se aplicável)
* Senha (se aplicável)

Dê um nome ao proxy e clique em **Save**.

**Ative o proxy**

Selecione o proxy no menu suspenso do FoxyProxy e ative-o.

**Valide o proxy**

Navegue até um site como <http://www.whoer.net> para verificar se o proxy está funcionando. Isso indicará se o seu IP/proxy está funcionando ou não.

**Entre em contato com o fornecedor do proxy**

Se o proxy que você comprou não funcionar, reporte o problema ao fornecedor do proxy. Eles podem fornecer suporte ou substituir o proxy.
